CALEB KIMMEL - Executive Director
Caleb Kimmel has dedicated his career towards using the game of baseball as a platform to help positively impact athletes in his own community and around the world.
Born and raised in Fort Wayne, Kimmel 
attended Homestead High School.
At a young age, Kimmel had the unique opportunity to begin his career path during his high and college years. While playing baseball at Valparaiso University, he also served as the tournament director of the Hoosier Classic Baseball Tournaments in Fort Wayne, IN throughout the summer months.
These tournaments served as a platform for Kimmel to become the owner of Between The Lines, LLC. His organization focuses on using baseball event planning as a means to provide quality baseball programming in his community.
His passion and drive towards using the game of baseball to serve others led to the creation of The World Baseball Academy.
In 2005, Kimmel began to network with Steve Sotir, Darin Van Tassell, and Larry Bryant about the opportunities of making Fort Wayne an international destination for international federations around the world to train some of their top athletes. The cross cultural educational components combined with outstanding baseball instruction and teaching was a common tread amongst this set of leadership.
After four years of strategic planning, on September 1, 2009, the World Baseball Academy became an official tenant at The ASH Centre in Fort Wayne, IN.
Kimmel serves as the full-time executive director of the World Baseball Academy and focuses his efforts on positioning this organization as a true outreach for this community, the country, and for federations throughout the world!
